Reservations for memberships are now being accepted.

A signature championship golf course designed by PGA Tour legend Johnny Miller and his renowned partner John Harbottle places certain demands on a player. Fortunately, club membership here is a straightforward affair, allowing you to focus on enjoying the beauty of the High Sierra, not notarizing paperwork. We have crafted specialized categories of membership to fit your lifestyle, and our Club Membership team can help you find the best fit for you. Some memberships are available only to owners within Schaffer’s Mill, while others are available to those living outside the community (they have just yet to realize that Schaffer’s Mill is the perfect place to call home).

Schaffer’s Mill Golf & Lake Club is what’s called a right-to-use Club, meaning you get to enjoy all of the benefits of the amenities without carrying financial responsibilities like operating assessments and capital calls. Members are simply required to pay a modest one-time initiation fee and then ongoing annual dues.

In addition to great golf, Membership at Schaffer’s Mill also includes use of the club’s 48′ Sunseeker yacht. Named “No Brainer” the Schaffer’s Mill Club yacht is moored just minutes from the club on Lake Tahoe and can easily be reserved through the Club Concierge.
