Schedule Your Summer 2012 Tee Times

Golf tee time reservations for Summer 2012 are now being accepted at Schaffer’s Mill Golf Club. Weather permitting, the golf course is scheduled to open for Member and guest play on Friday, May 18th. Schaffer’s Mill St. Patrick’s Day Party

Schaffer’s Mill Club Members and non-members are invited to the Schaffer’s Mill St. Patrick’s Day Party on Saturday, March 17^th. The St. Patty’s Day Party will be held at the Schaffer’s Mill Lake Club on Lake Tahoe and will feature traditional Irish food, wine and green beer. The festivities will begin at 7 pm and will go until approximately 10pm.

Folks who are interested in Schaffer’s Mill, but who are not residents or members can take advantage of our specially-priced 3 Day/2 Night Schaffer’s Mill Discovery Package and immerse yourself in the Schaffer’s Mill lifestyle for just $199 per couple. Schaffer’s Mill is happy to welcome Taylor Lorz as the new Club Concierge and Real Estate Office Manager. Born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, Taylor moved to Lake Tahoe 10 years ago.

After earning a BA in Humanities from Sierra Nevada College and falling in love with the outdoor activities and all that Lake Tahoe has to offer, Taylor decided to remain here after college. For the past 4 years, Taylor has worked for a vacation club in the area as a concierge/activities coordinator and is looking forward to a new beginning at Schaffer’s Mill.

Schaffer’s Mill Lake Club Unveiled

The official ribbon cutting ceremony for our exclusive Schaffer’s Mill Lake Club at Jake’s on the Lake was held on January 28th. New Martis Partners Managing Partner John Marlin and Schaffer’s Mill Club Members enjoyed refreshments, appetizers and live music at Jake’s on the Lake during this fun event.

The Schaffer’s Mill Lake Club is an exciting addition to our Schaffer’s Mill community and will be an awesome place to hang out during the warmer summer months.

Dashing Through the Snow

Our new Private Schaffer’s Mill Shuttle Service has begun. The Shuttle Vans are available 7 days a week to help Schaffer’s Mill Club Members get to and from the slopes, into town for dinner or wherever you might need to go.

Mother Nature finally decided to “Let it Snow” in Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Over the past few days Schaffer’s Mill has received approximately two feet of snow and it just keeps coming. Our neighbors over at NorthStar have received over 41 inches of white stuff in the last 48 hours. While our friends at Squaw Valley have received more than FIVE FEET of snow in the past 72 hours. Needless to say, winter has FINALLY arrived and ski conditions are epic.
