A new clubhouse, fitness center, tennis complex, resort-style pool and more are already in the planning stages and construction is set to begin as fast as permitting will allow. Construction of the Schaffer’s Mill clubhouse is estimated to be completed by summer 2013. Ward Young Architects of Truckee will oversee the construction of the clubhouse and amenity center.
The interim golf and sales facilities recently opened at Schaffer’s Mill and have received rave reviews from members and guests. The new campus includes a golf shop, food and beverage service, a sales pavilion and a shaded dining patio overlooking the picturesque first hole.
“The late spring snowfall created a few challenges, but we’re excited to continue our progress and we remain on schedule with respect to our amenity plans,” said John Marlin, Managing Partner for Schaffer’s Mill. “We’ve significantly upgraded the interim facilities, and we are eager to get started on the permanent amenities. Plans are already being drawn and we expect to begin building some of those amenities soon.”
