After another sunny day dominated but gusting winds, the competition has become keen with a two-way tie for the lead after the third round of the 83rd Women’s TRANS National Championship.
Ashlan Ramsey played well enough to hold on with a 54-hole total of 214, but now shares first place honors with University of California Berkeley freshman, Hannah Suh, who shot 72. The championship is still very undecided as a mere three strokes back is UC Davis sophmore, Beverly Vatananugulkit, carding a the low score for the day of 70. In fact, there are 9 competitors within 10 strokes including previous Women’s TRANS champion, Mia Piccio, who shot 75 today.
Tomorrow tee times start at 8:00 AM with the leaders teeing it up at 11:00 AM. Spectators are welcome to cheer on the new TRANS Champion.
