SCHAFFER’S MILL ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF INTERIM FACILITIES
Truckee, Calif. – New Martis Partners, the owners of Schaffer’s Mill (www.schaffersmill.com), have announced completion of the interim golf and sales facilities for the private golf club and community near Lake Tahoe. The new campus includes a golf shop, food and beverage service, a sales pavilion and a shaded dining patio overlooking the picturesque first hole.
“The late spring snowfall created a few challenges, but we’re excited to continue our progress and we remain on schedule with respect to our amenity plans,” said John Marlin, Managing Partner for Schaffer’s Mill. “We’ve significantly upgraded the interim facilities, and we are eager to get started on the permanent amenities. Plans are already being drawn and we expect to begin building some of those amenities later this summer.”
The completion of the facilities adds to the momentum that is building within the community. In the last 30 days, the Schaffer’s Mill team has sold a home site – the first in more than two years—along with two townhomes, totaling over $1.5 million in real estate sales.
“We are working hard to build an active and vibrant club environment,” said Marlin. “Our goal is to complete the facilities and amenities and grow the membership as quickly as possible. We expect Schaffer’s Mill to become a community where families can come together and enjoy all that the Tahoe area has to offer and we’re committed to bringing that vision to life just as fast as we can.”
